Two small communities, one garden
Rose Lodge has 33 rooms: 15 in The Cottage and 18 in The Lodge. Bring your own treasured things and small pieces of furniture, and we will decorate your room in your favourite colours.
The Cottage
Community for people with early to mid stage dementia
15 rooms, all with level-access wet rooms
The Cottage community is especially for people living with early to mid stage dementia and is also the hub for our social club and day care and respite services.
The Cottage is a community of people where, freed from many of the challenges of daily living, you are able to make new friends and join in a wide variety of activities, in a home that helps you to be as independent as possible while being safe.
It has direct access to our beautiful garden and terrace, and the rooms are modern, spacious and have en-suite facilities. A big cinema screen has been added, as well as a video-calling console for face to face calls with friends and relatives.
The Lodge
Community for people with mid to late stage dementia
18 rooms, many with en-suite facilities
When you live with dementia at home, your strive for independence can actually result in isolation, loneliness and increased confusion as your old familiar home just doesn't make sense anymore.
Moving to Rose Lodge means you join a community of people where, freed from many of the challenges of daily living, you are able to make new friends and join in a wide variety of activities, in a home that helps you to be as independent as possible while being safe.
The Lodge is especially suited for people living with mid to late stage dementia and has all the services and facilities that could ever be needed. It has direct access to our garden and terrace, and the rooms are modern, spacious and many have en-suite facilities.

The house and garden
The garden has large terraces where you can sit and enjoy the sunshine or read and relax. You can also have fun watching the frequent visits from our friendly local squirrels and birds who come to feed from the bird tables and feeders, or enjoy the raised flower beds and allotment garden and do some gardening yourself, or help to look after our animals.

Bathing
Facilities for safe bathing and showering, including hoists. In the Cottage all the rooms have level-access wet rooms.
Meals
Our cooks prepare every meal in the home with fresh ingredients, with a choice at breakfast, lunch and supper. Special diets are catered for.
Included
A weekly hairdresser, a private chiropodist, daily national and local papers, and access to specialist NHS services as required.
